Why DCS exists
Drug-checking teams need a consistent way to record anonymous encounters and detailed sample results. DCS keeps that work in one purpose-built system instead of spreading it across forms, spreadsheets, and disconnected administrative tools.
How it can be used
Authorized staff can log a visit, record one or more samples, capture screening and FTIR results, flag important findings, and review recent activity. Organization and system roles separate everyday service work from administrative controls.
How it is built
DCS uses Next.js and TypeScript for the application, Clerk for sign-in and organization membership, and a self-hosted Convex backend for live data and application functions. Docker and Caddy provide repeatable deployment, HTTPS routing, and health checks on the PCWDS VPS.
Current availability
DCS is online as a staging application with synthetic demo data. It is available for product testing and review, but it is not yet approved for real client or health information.
